The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is taking a giant leap into the future of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) with the introduction of two groundbreaking systems – PACE and the new NDIS Provider Portal. If you’re an NDIS provider, it’s time to get excited because these innovations are set to make your life easier and improve the experience for participants. Why the Change?

The NDIA is committed to enhancing the NDIS experience for both participants and providers. PACE and the new NDIS Provider Portal have been designed with user-friendliness in mind, streamlining operations and ultimately giving everyone more time to focus on delivering quality services to NDIS participants.

Testing in Tasmania

Testing for these new systems has been in progress since November 14, 2022, in Tasmania. This testing phase has been crucial to ensure the systems are ready for a wider rollout. We would like to extend our gratitude to the Tasmanian providers who have been a part of this journey.

Information Session Details

Are you outside Tasmania and haven’t yet had the chance to work with these new systems? Then our information session is just for you. This session will provide a comprehensive overview of PACE, the new NDIS Provider Portal, and the Participant, Platform, and Process (3P) initiative aimed at improving the participant experience and operational efficiency.

Moreover, for Tasmanian providers, please note that this session will not deliver any new information beyond what you have already received during the test period.

Registration is conducted via Eventbrite, and we recommend reading our advice on using the platform on the [NDIS website] to ensure a smooth registration process.

Sessions are delivered via video conference using Microsoft Teams, offering multiple dates for your convenience. Each session covers the same content, so attendees should register for only one session to allow others to participate.

Registrations will close one business day before the session or once tickets are sold out. Please enter your email address correctly during registration to receive login details.

Accessibility Matters

At the NDIA, we are committed to ensuring our services are accessible to all. If you have accessibility requirements, please inform us when registering. A minimum of five business days’ notice is needed to book Auslan interpreters and live captioning services. These services are provided by external providers, and your details will be shared with them when booking.

The NDIA uses Eventbrite for event registration. Please note that Eventbrite stores your data, including personal information, on servers in the United States. In the event of any breaches of the Australian Privacy Principles, the NDIA will not be held accountable under the Privacy Act.
